Also,  we have our last two shows of the year coming up to wrap up 2011! We’ll be playing The Grape Room in Philly on Dec. 15th and The Chameleon Club Dec. 30th! We’ll be selling adv. tics for The Chameleon show for $8, so send us a message if you’re interested.

We’re writing this little update on balmy Nov. day in PA. Nice! We have a big announcement and a not as big announcement- let’s start with the latter first!

We are working on new songs and we’re very proud to say Jordan has written yet another song with an animal in the title. Sticking to our roots:)

In much larger news we’ve been picked as an mtvu freshmen band! We will be getting our video for give it up now played this whole week…and we need your votes! If we win our video will be added to mtvu playlist. Voting starts now and goes until friday at midnight! You can vote as much as you want. Please pass along! We need you all on this one!

We hope everybody’s summer has been awesome so far! We refuse to watch anything on TV that pertains to fall or the buying of any clothes that have sleeves. Lets make summer last! We’ve got a couple little thangs to get you all in the loop about. First off, we are very happy to announce that “Switched At Birth” on abc family has used another one of songs for their season finale last night. We will be playing the Xponential fest at Wiggins Park in Camden, NJ today from 12:30 to 1:00. We’re excited to be a part of this amazing event. Even better, WXPN will be broadcasting our set LIVE on the air! So, come on out and join us if you can but, if you can’t make it for some reason know that you can still hear us at 88.5 FM!

Hello All!

Much news to share, we just got back from a mini midwest tour which was awesome. We had a blast at summerfest and won the emerging artist prize package thanks to many new friends (and many back home). After many late nights, lake showers, all night drives, & meeting many amazing new people (we love chicago) we’re all back for a day- just enough time for me to make a dinner compltely out of things from the valley’s garden which is great because I have been eating gas station food for the past week. We head to nyc for a show tomorrow night and then off to the beach to write new songs, relax and get ready for many more shows in july and aug.

Which leads us to other news, we are having a very easy contest this week, all you have to do is suggest kingsfoil’s facebook page to 100 or more of your friends, (the more the better) snap a photo with your cell phone, then post it on our facebook or send it to steve@kingsfoil.com. After we get 10 people doing this we will draw one name to win a pair of VIP all weekend passes for xpn fest! (In NJ on the waterfront across from philly.) That means you can go to all 3 days of music for FREE (we play Sunday) you will also be able to hang in the “artist area” its a pretty sweet deal. We will pick the winner this weekend, so get to work. It only takes a couple mins!

We’ve got a couple really cool things to share with you all-

1-The song “heart prints” off the new record was featured on ABC family’s “Switched At Birth” series. 2- In july we will be opening for some of our very favorite artists – on July 7th we head to summerfest to play the emerging artists stage! Headlining our stage that night will be Edward sharp and the magnetic zeros! We can’t wait!

3-Then on july 24th we had to the xpn fest. Where the headliner for Sunday is ben folds. We couldn’t be more honored to be part of a show like this. Also, stay tuned for a way to win two free passes to the festavail where you will get to hang in the vip area with the artest and you will be able to check out all 3 days for free!

4 & half- we are also working on a brand new music video for “give it up now” which will be coming out this summer- & since it seems to be the kingsfoil way to always pick hot summer days to shoot a video we are proud to annouce that we also are working on some sweaty hot footage for another music video which you will hear more about soon!

Hello all you Kingsfoilers! We hope your Spring/summer (Sprummer?) is going awesome. We’ve been trying to stay cool with lots of shows and writing even more new music for you. We feel like we really need to up it a notch with our lyrical content, don’t you agree? I mean, every single Ke$ha single has mentioned Glitter, and now the new Katy Perry song does too. We really missed the boat there guys, but don’t worry… we’re back on track, and it will be raining glitter soon. Seriously though, we’re so pumped for Summer, so we’ve decided to spread our cheer by giving away Summer Comes for free on the first day of Summer! It’ll be a fun little gift for you, so keep your eyes peeled for that. We’ve also got some more great shows coming up- June 24 for Dana Alexandra’s CD Release Party. Then June 25th in Philly at the Troc w/ June Divided. We also are looking forward to our trip to Milwaukee for Summerfest where we perform July 7th. And yes, Katy Perry will also be playing that night. We’ll probably be willing to do anything to get into that show, so look out for a great vlog of that trip. We’ve got lots of other show announcements coming in the next week, so if we didn’t mention your town, don’t give up hope. We’ll be all over the map!

Welcome to mimic video – where you video tape yourself singing/playing your fav kingsfoil song OR a cover song you think kingsfoil might sound good playing and then you send us the video and we have to take this watch it and then flim our own. We have to do it in the same kind of location and the same song. If you play the whole song that’s awesome but not required. You can just sing a verse or chorus. You can bring your friends. Be creative. The more random the better:)

We will pick a couple of the videos (covers and our songs) and post them along with our video. At that point we will have our fans and friends watch and vote/like on which one they like best. It will also be your job to get your friends to vote as well. We will pick one winner. They will get a brand spanking new kingsfoil t-shirt and itunes gift card some other cool stuff.

Once you’ve made your video. send it to steve@kingsfoil.com and/or upload it to youtube (name it mimic video with kingsfoil in the title).

We will have a youtube play list set aside for the voting when it comes to that.
